PAL Green Division is focused on building custom machinery and equipment to transform waste into opportunity, working to create a sustainable future.
The division's activities are divided into 9 fields of competence, with a focus on recycling and renewable energies, developed with a technological and innovative approach based on collective and environmental responsibility.
PAL Green Division’s attention to the value-enhancement of “waste”, considered as a resource to exploit and reuse, stimulated the design of sorting plants for the recycling of glass, plastics, paper, metals and other. The numerous plant solutions were developed to maximise efficiency in the sorting and reduction of waste.
SSF - Secondary Solid Fuel
The solutions conceived and developed by PAL Green Division guarantee maximum performance throughout all the phases of the conversion process: stabilization of the organic content, sanitation, recovery of materials, sorting of aggregates, specific refining for a high-quality product (calorific value, humidity, content in powders, aggregates, metals, pollutants, chlorinated products, ashes, volatility in the combustion chamber, etc…)
Quality compost
PAL Green Division provides complete composting plants made up of: pre-treatment units, an ACT phase (Active Composting Time) through biocells, a curing phase, and a compost selection and cleaning line. Especially efficient is the line designed by PAL for the compost refining (cleaning) that allows selecting the compost by removing the overscreen (plastics) and bulking fractions.
Biomass energy
To meet the wide demand, Pal Green Division plans, develops and carries out a complete range of plants for: the treatment of wood shavings; the cleaning of wood waste and subsequent treatment; the refining of wood and sorting for combustion systems; the treatment of seasonal biomass; the refining of USW for the production of high-quality SSF; the preparation of high-quality SSF for special uses. destinato a usi speciali.
Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas
“Biogas” is a mixture of different types of gas, mainly methane, produced by anaerobic bacterial fermentation of organic residues from plant or animal wastes. Backed by best available technologies, PAL Green Division fabricates anaerobic digestion plants with production of biomethane to be injected into the distribution system. Pre-treatment is a crucial step to removing metals, inert materials and plastics from the Ofmsw. Anaerobic digestion takes place in continuous reactors or in batch reactors that are equipped with biogas collection systems.
Sorting from out-of-use motor vehicles
The plant solutions developed by PAL Green Division for recycling material deriving from the shredding of vehicles represents the new concept of landfill to obtain a lower environmental impact and greater economic savings. The machinery produced by PAL Green Division also allows the maximum recovery of materials that do not fall within the sorting process (ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as plastic).
Drying process and thermal plants
The plants manufactured by PAL Green Division guarantee maximum drying effectiveness using less energy hence causing a lower environmental impact. The cogeneration of electric and thermal energy applied to industrial plants represents one of the most interesting solutions to reduce costs and improve environmental sustainability.
Pelletizing of materials
The extrusion processes carried out by PAL Green Division machinery allow the pelletizing of various types of materials: wood used in industrial and civil fields; bagasse; feedstuff; plastics; urban solid waste; car fluff.
New products from waste wood
In relation to new environmental sensitivities that show that the delicate forest ecosystem should not be over-stressed, PAL Green Division is committed to finding alternatives to wood by investing in the recycling of wood waste.
