Installation of a pellet line

PAL's intervention in the material pelletising sector involves the supply of technology to upgrade existing plants. In response to specific customer requirements, PAL introduced a new family of presses designed for wood fibre processing, Dynapelletpress. This new technology made it possible to eliminate any elastic instability between the shaft, rollers and die and to intervene in difficult circumstances thanks to a robust design and established technology.

Among the projects that saw PAL's direct involvement with the supply of 7 Dynapelletpress was the installation of a pellet line in Korea, to which the company contributed:

• Sorting and cleaning system of woodchips fed to the plant though the Dynascreen and dry cleaning systems
• Green and dry grinding system by means of 8 Falcon-type Hammermill in their high-performance configuration, complete with auger dosing system and removal of heavy metals and pollutants by means of a magnetic drum and air sorting system
• Screening and cleaning system using Superscreen and Wind Sifter, PAL technologies, to reduce energy consumption in the grinding area and certify wood quality by removing all the remaining pollutants in the wood mixture
• 1 storage silo for material after drying
• 8 type DB.4 auger-type volumetric dosing system

Furthermore, the seven high-performance Pellet Mills ensure a longer than average service life of the wear parts and lower energy consumption per ton of Pellets produced.
